Valley Pastries in Golden Valley

First time there and wont be the last! Prices are great, the donuts are dense and very tasty! I normally eat 3 donuts but I barely had room for 2. We will be back to clear you out of the GIANT donut holes!!

Overall, these donuts were very good! The turnover and the long johns were great! And the frosting was delicious. The fry on the cinnamon rolls was done too long, in oil that wasn’t hot enough, leaving them oil soaked and burnt tasting. Other than that, the donuts we tried were LOVELY! Would recommend checking them out, just avoiding the fried cinnamon rolls. 👌

Good donuts, OK employees and lack luster sanitation. The donuts here are good, being probably a little better than Walmart donuts, but I wouldn't say they are top-tier. In terms of cost the donuts are a little above average (from what I can tell anyways). When picking out our donuts the cashier was a little impatient, and she used the same gloves to count the money as she did to handle the donuts, which to me is pretty gross if I'm being honest. The exterior and interior of the building are pretty bleh, which doesn't really matter with a small shop like this.In the end if I lived nearby I would probably get donuts here, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Ordered the Build-A-Doughnut kit for my girlfriends bday, it was awesome! Fresh doughnuts and the frosting and sprinkles were great, highly recommend!

Fantastic donuts. Make sure to get here early, I stopped in shortly before 10 on a Saturday and there was only one tray of donuts left that I could see! I was still able to get a good variety and they were delicious!

Best place for donuts in the western suburbs. Tasty, affordable, great selection. Get here early (before 7:30am on a weekday) as they do start to run out of popular items given people buy these by the dozen for work. If you like glazed donuts, make sure to try the Giant Donut Holes which are just $.75 each. Be warned, if you bring these to work, you might get a mixed reaction as these are impossible to resist!

Mike made the donuts for our wedding September 8th and they were amazing! He took extra care and even made them twice to assure their perfection! The customer service was great and the donuts were delicious! I was lucky my sister-in-law saved me one, they were gone in a flash!!! In the hoopla of the day they forget to include the stand for the donuts when the order was picked up but, Mike noticed and personally drove all the way to Red Wing from Golden Valley to get it there well before the reception! Had he not told me, i never would have noticed the delivery was anything but perfect! Thanks guys!

This is the best donut place in Minnesota, and no one knows about it. They know exactly how donuts should be made and they execute to perfection.

We had these delicious donuts at our son's birthday party last weekend. The kid's (of all ages) faces lit up when they spotted the boxes of donuts, many of them personalized and beautifully decorated. Very tasty, too!

The valley pastries team goes above and beyond to take care of customers! My kids and I went to get donuts after they had closed, the staff saw us get out of our cars, and get back in (sad faces) to leave. They came out and got us the amazing donuts we came for. They didn’t need to, as they had worked a long day and were cleaning, but great customer service and care was shown and that is one of the many reasons I will always go to Valley Pastries for their amazing pastries & local business customer service!

We just came across this cute bakery and were greeted by the NICEST people. Not only that, we went home with the best cookies and donuts I’ve ever had! Absolutely recommend checking it out, AND they do sweet treats for parties!

Excellent doughnuts! I love the doughnut holes which are huge and so delicious. Also, the staff is very friendly and service is excellent as well. They have done a great job allowing ore ordering during the Covid-19 pandemic as well. Very impressed, so glad to live near by.

Overall I thought the donuts were ok. It was around 8:30 but I thought the donuts were cold and not very impressive. I had two cake donuts so maybe it was the type I tried. I will be back to see if this was a one off occurrence or if this is just an average donut shop. The prices were very reasonable.

We stopped out at a local bakery this morning, Valley Pastries. It's a small little Shop with a friendly staff that even let kids sprinkle their own donuts. The donuts are delicious with flavor and soft breading. Highly recommend this little Shop. They can sell out quick in the mornings, get there before 10am. Fair pricing and also can pre order.

I don't get the hype. I've been here 3 times now and every time the donuts taste stale, they aren't fresh. My parents just finished and I figured I'd give Valley another shot to impress, same result, my parents were unimpressed as well. I've even tried the giant donut holes that they're supposed to be known for thinking they'd go through more of them and they'd be fresh, nope. The dough is dry, the glaze is dry and crumbles. The service wasn't that friendly either. As a first time customer I was trying to get a feel for what they had and I felt pressured to order instead of being offered suggestions. You can get fresher, tastier donuts across the street at Holiday. Which is sad because I love donuts and I love supporting small businesses

Love their doughnuts but service was terrible. Tried to order ahead. They were not happy when we showed up and thought it would be curb aide even though that was offered as an option. The line was busy and the guy working grumbled and said next time don’t expect curb side. Sad. Won’t go here again. Beware

Went there at about 8:30 one day and there were not many donuts to choose from. I just wanted a raised donut or a long john and all they had we old fashioned donuts, some donut holes, Bismarck’s, and other pastries. Maybe they had been busy earlier that day, but there was not much left. I took some donut holes home and they were super tasty. I would definitely go back for those donut holes. But maybe I will call before I head in to make sure they have what I am looking for. Also, the shop is very small but thankfully it was just me that walked in.

Absolutely delicious and giant donuts. For anyone who is coming here for the first time, it is not a restaurant where you can sit and eat. You go in, you buy your donuts and you leave. There's no room for standing, even.

Valley Pastry is a friendly neighborhood shop with amazing pastries! I’ve always thought their large donut holes were great until I had one of them fresh and warm...oh my goodness...AWESOME!! If you haven’t been there, check them out. It will become a regular trip for you!

Seriously the best donuts ever! They are soft and fresh and delicious. They also have giant donut holes that are really great. You definitely have to get their early as they sell out of stuff quickly, but so worth it.
